ALICE IN CHAINS: Second Los Angeles Show Added
September 29, 2006The response to ALICE IN CHAINS' November 27 show at the Wiltern LG in Los Angeles has been so amazing that the band has gone ahead and added a second L.A. date. This extra show will happen on Tuesday, November 28. There will be no presale for this show — just a public sale. That public sale will start tomorrow, Saturday, September 30, at 10:00 a.m. PDT through Ticketmaster. A complete list of upcoming ALICE IN CHAINS shows can be found at this location.
ALICE IN CHAINS' fall tour follows an initial six-city U.S. run last spring, a stretch of European summer festival slots and scattered Stateside dates last month.
Singer William DuVall will continue to handle lead vocals for the band. DuVall fronts his own act, COMES WITH THE FALL, and has also performed in Jerry Cantrell's solo band.
There is no word yet on whether ALICE IN CHAINS will record any new material.
HURT is the sole opening act on the entire tour. The group continues to support its debut album, "Volume 1", which came out in March and features the singles "Rapture" and "Falls Apart".
